The Lost Kingdom

music and words: Ingo

During the time of darkness

All but one left their home, fled without a fight

But the king braved the darkness

The cold wind, endless rain, hunger and the night

But one of these days darkness will be swept away by light

In the course of the centuries

The walls of his realm crumbled into dust

But the ravages of time

Will never erase all the traces

Of life and death of the folks who lived

Once in this lost kingdom

Streets were not abandoned they were full of life

Once in this lost kingdom

Darkness banished irenic people from their homes

The wind had changed, the storm passed by

The rain had stopped, the clouds broke up for the sky

The darkness of the night had been blown away

A ray of light cut through the trees into the face of the king

He now summons his folks

To come back to the home of their ancestry

Soon in this lost kingdom

The abandoned streets will be full of life

Soon in this lost kingdom

No one will remember the darkness and fearful times

Life has returned to the heart of the king and his folks and his land − are alive

Look at this reborn kingdom

The once abandoned streets are full of life

Look at this reborn kingdom

No one will remember the dark and fearful times

Once in this lost kingdom

Streets were not abandoned they were full of life

Once in this lost kingdom

Darkness banished irenic people from their homes

Look at this reborn kingdom

The once abandoned streets are full of life

Look at this reborn kingdom
